We have negotiated excellent rates for academy participants, probably the best rates we have ever been able to offer:

• 50 euro per night for a single room

• 55 euro per night for a double/twin room. 

These rates apply for the whole week, including the weekend after the academy when the Latvian Tourism Development Agency is organising its short familiarisation programme.  They include breakfast.

Although prices have been quoted to ETC in euro, you will be billed in Latvian lats (LVL). The exchange rate is €1 for 0.703 LVL or €1.423 for 1 LVL.  (These rates were correct on 16th September 2009.)

Hotel cancellation policy - IMPORTANT

ETC is pleased to co-ordinate bookings as a service to members.  The hotel has agreed to waive the requirement for reservations to be guaranteed by credit cards.

However, you - and not ETC - are responsible for any charges incurred through late cancellation of any part of your booking.

The hotel's cancellation charges are  as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the date of arrival - no charge
• Later cancellations - the cost of the first night's stay
• No-shows - the cost of the first night's stay
